This is a target-driven position that will be accountable to monthly, quarterly and annual targets and goals. This is an exciting job opportunity for a dynamic, energetic and enthusiastic professional. The successful candidate must have a great deal of self-discipline, set high standards for themselves, be competitive, and be a great team player. Experience in beverage alcohol sales, or the hospitality industry as well as fundamental wine knowledge is preferred. The successful candidate will show or have the following skills and experience: Self-motivated, driven and has the ability to work independently but also be a team player Planning and executing events/tastings throughout territory and across all channels Developing and maintaining a regular call schedule for all channels and accounts A minimum of 1-3 years in the wine industry, preferably as a sales rep Able to build sales based client relationships across diverse channels Able to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently, and shift gears quickly Strong working capability of computers using MS Office Suite Has a valid and unimpeded passport Able to lift and carry more than 40 lbs. on a regular basis Post-secondary education of certificate, diploma or degree is an asset Wine education such as WSET or ISG is considered an asset Additional responsibilities include organizing and creating displays, tastings, and account support functions.
