A multi-company office in Port Coquitlam is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have high school completion and 2 years administrative experience in an office environment (asset) along with the following: Knowledge, Skills & Proficiency: Computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Word) Ability to work effectively in a very fast paced environment Detail oriented, including sufficient knowledge of spelling and grammar to accurately proofread documents Basic math and data entry skills and minimum 60 wpm typing speed Strong English communication skills - both written and oral Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Experience with Simply Accounting (Asset) Knowledge/experience in the construction industry (Asset) Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): Reception duties with an approachable, friendly demeanor Basic office duties including filing, scanning, copying, faxing, emailing, etc. Incoming / Outgoing mail and courier management Management of office supplies Assisting Bookkeeper when required Additional basic administrative duties as required by office manager and project managers Interested applicants may submit their resume - only applicants with the above noted qualifications will be contacted.
