Description :

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, Bookkeeper to join our team. The person we are looking for has experience in full cycle of bookkeeping duties such as processing day to day AP entries, reconciling account differences, job allocation, managing accounts receivable/payable and payroll. · Work with receivables (invoicing, deposits, and statements) and payables (bills, payments, expense reports) · Prepare reconciliations – bank and credit card statements · Prepare weekly and monthly financial and management reports · Ensure compliance with Payroll T4 + T4As, HST + RST Returns, WSIB, etc · Prepare Tax & Government remittance and reconciliations · Prepare and complete month end/year-end closing · Prepare and perform job allocation reports and job analysis · Perform electronic and paper-based filing · Prepare journal entries; maintain and reconcile ledger accounts · Identify process improvements and system efficiencies · Assist in the implementation of financial controls to ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and practices · Other duties as assigned Qualifications: · Accounting degree or diploma · Experience using QuickBooks (3+ years) · Excellent communication skills – both written & oral · Intermediate customer service skills · Intermediate level experience with the Microsoft Office · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail · Advance knowledge of accounting policies and procedures. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Salary: $55,000.00 to $58,700.00 /year Experience: office management: 1 year (Preferred)
