We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company. Responsibilities Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process: Process, verify and record transactions, which includes petty cash, invoices, EFTs, and remittances with timeliness and accuracy Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger Process accounts receivable/payable in a timely manner Prepare payroll biweekly Prepare and make weekly bank deposit for 2 locations Create Purchase Order for non-inventory purchase and Reconcile purchase order with invoices and enter invoices, reconcile statements Record monthly credit card expense transaction with proper receipts Send out monthly Accounts Receivable statements Maintains and accurate account receivable aging report Post journal entries Preparing and processing intercompany reconciliations, adjustments, preparing journal entries, and balancing the General Ledger (month, quarter, year-end) Prepare and file HST/GST returns, WSIB, EHT, ROE on a timely basis Works with pharmacy team to resolve claim errors in pharmacy software Follows up with clients on overdue balances Other duties as required Skills Working in a pharmacy environment preferred Proven bookkeeping experience Familiar with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (Advance level).
