As the right candidate, you will bring positive energy, an innovative spirit, and a dedication to continual learning and improvement to all of your responsibilities, which include: Full cycle bookkeeping duties, preparation of bank reconciliations, AP, AR, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax filing (HST, T4), and general office assistance as required Managing computerized financial and payroll systems, spreadsheets and word processing programs Filing, collecting, and organizing documents and information You have a unique history. Proficiency with the latest version of Sage 300 Accounting and ADP Workforce Now (Payroll & Time and Attendance Modules) Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field, or Completion of 2 years (first level) of a recognized professional accounting program (ex: CA or CGA), or Courses in accounting or bookkeeping combined with 3-5 years of experience as a financial or accounting clerk Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Sharepoint If you’re right for this role, you’ll be a natural at: Initiating and developing relationships across the organization in support of a partnership model between central services and programs Critical thinking, planning, organization, time management and follow-through skills Creating reports in a professional style Oral and written communication, building relationships and engaging others Taking initiative and having pride in the quality work that you do Exercising solid judgment, tact, humility, and diplomacy Rolling up your sleeves and juggling a variety of tasks You'll stand out if you...
